THE ROLE

Since its inception, Hylands Golf Club has matured into a top-quality golf facility that offers a full range of services and amenities to its 1200 members and their guests.

A true jewel among Canadian Forces golf facilities, Hylands continues to host numerous regional, national and international events. As part of CFMWS, our mandate is to provide affordable golf to our local military personnel and their families.

As an integral part of the ground's maintenance department, as a golf course worker, you will be trained on different equipment in order to maintain all playing surfaces on a 36-hole golf course.

You will maintain greens, tee box areas, turf on fairways, sand traps and rough.

You will also maintain and repair golf course outbuildings, fences, bridges, nets and screens and repair and fill fairway and tee divots.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered

AND
Valid driver's license class G (Ontario) or equivalent

Experience
In landscaping or golf course maintenance
In operating specialized turf care equipment

Knowledge
Of grounds keeping practices and techniques
Of health and safety practices
Of golf game rules and strategies

Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
