Inventory Administrator - Grande Prairie, Canada - Control Tech
Description
Job Brief:
The Inventory Administrator will be responsible for the life cycle management of the parts and materials inventory at Control Tech.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs daily inventory processing related to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and production.
- Compares on hand reports to ERP system and resolves on hand discrepancies.
- Counts, records, and maintains records of merchandise received and sold according to departmental procedures.
- Performs weekly inventory counts for parts and materials and adjusts as necessary.
- Processes returns, cores, credits, and warranty parts.
- Prepares and submits inventory control reports to supervisor.
- Participates in resolving issues with obsolete or slowmoving inventory items.
- Picks outbound shipments in a safe and timely fashion according to procedure.
- Participates/complies with company safety programs & company policies.
- Other duties as required.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient with computer software (i.e., MS Office, ERP systems, Internet)
- Solid verbal and written communication.
