Position: Full-Time Security Guard

Site: Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital - 403 Picton Main

Hours: Rotational - Nights Only

Payrate: $18.75/hour

Start Date: ASAP

Full-Time - Rotational. Please see example below:)

• Week Days (Mon-Tues, Fri-Sat)
• Week Days (Sun, Wed-Thurs)

Note: The schedule remains consistent month-to-month.

Working as a Security Guard in a Healthcare setting entails conducting investigations and writing incident reports. You will be responsible for regular patrols, providing excellent customer service to the public, ensuring the safety of clients and visitors, and building relationships with patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Compassion, empathy, and a passion for working in a healthcare environment
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C Certificate
• Immunization Record Copy
• Personal vehicle required
• Commitment to 5 days of pre-deployment training
• Commitment to 5 site training shifts at all QHC Hospitals
• Ability to pass N95 Mask Fit Test (clean shaven if necessary)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Capability to work independently
