The Role
This position is responsible for contributing to the Paradigm Quest servicing team.

As a member of the Discharges team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing mortgage discharge statements and provide service excellence when working with external legal offices.


Role Specific Accountabilities (include, but not limited to the following):

  • Prepare mortgage statements (Discharge, Transfer & Bridge Loans) on a timely and accurate basis
  • Analyze and interpret customer /lawyer inquiries through well thought out judgments, decisionmaking skills and product knowledge
  • Process all discharges/transfers accurately after the payout date
  • Coordinate and ensure that discharge/transfer documents are signed by the appropriate signing officers
  • Forward the final release documents to the lawyer/client
  • Incorporates regulatory & compliance requirements into existing business processes and activities
  • Provide highest level of customer service to all clients and internal staff
  • Provide continuous feedback or recommendations for process improvement and provide solutions on how to improve
  • Handle multiple priorities in an everchanging work environment

What You Bring To The Team

  • University or College Degree is an asset
  • 1+ years experience in a Financial Administrative position or related field is an asset
  • Previous office/customer service experience is an asset
  • Possess solid MS Office/Computer skills
  • Mortgage industry experience an asset
  • Bilingual in French and English both verbal and written is an asset
  • Committed to providing outstanding customer service
  • Provide timely and accurate response to all customer queries
  • Excellent organizational skills and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Flexible and adaptable / able to multitask under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities
  • Self-Motivated / proactive mindset
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Detail oriented
  • Sense of humour
