Position Overview:
The Design Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and blueprints for cabinetry and millwork projects.

This includes working closely with the design team and clients to understand project requirements, creating and revising detailed drawings, and ensuring that all designs are accurate and meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with design team to understand project requirements and create detailed drawings and blueprints for cabinetry and millwork projects
• Utilize industryspecific software to create accurate and detailed designs
• Collaborate with clients and other team members to ensure that designs meet their needs and expectations
• Revise and update designs as needed
• Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and regulations
• Communicate progress and any issues with the design team and clients
• Attend project meetings as needed
• Continuously educate oneself on new technology, tools and software to improve the design process

Qualifications:

• Experience in design drafting for cabinetry and millwork projects
• Strong working knowledge of industryspecific software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Cabinet Vision
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to create accurate and detailed designs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations
• Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with BIM/3D modeling is a plus.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical school or college degree in a related field is preferred but not necessary

$70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
