Job Description:


Position Summary:

As a key member of the Information Management Technology (IMT) team, the Network Analyst is responsible for providing expert, professional and skilled support for the M365 Cloud Platform/Services, Servers, Storage and specialized equipment used within Cambridge Memorial Hospital and its partners.

The Network Analyst will implement, integrate, enhance and support our M365 Platform/Services, Servers (Physical & Virtual), Storage (Cloud & on Prem) and various IT Infrastructure Systems.

Work will involve both implementation and operational assignments, developing procedures & plans and when required will follow accepted project management methodologies.

The physical demands of the role may include but are not limited to prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling.

This position contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Subject matter expert for everything related to Microsoft 36
  • Responsible for deploying, migrating, maintaining, and administrating the Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online (including Hybrid Environment), etc.
  • Responsible for securing all aspects of the M365 environment.
  • Experience with Azure AD Connect and synchronizing objects from onprem AD to Azure AD.
  • Maintaining M365 Security and Compliance related configurations including retention policies.
  • Support, management & configuration of Server Virtualization, including but not limited to Host build/configuration, vCenter (installation/upgrade/updates/cluster configuration, etc.)
  • Installation and configuration of Tier 1 Class, Hyper converged & Cloud Server/Workloads Infrastructure technologies
  • Support Storage (SAN/NAS) technologies including Cloud, Fiber channel, iSCSI networking & NFS (DELL/EMC as primary, others an asset)
  • Windows Server environment Support (various versions) including AD, DHCP, DNS, GPOs, DFS, Failover Clustering, SQL, etc.
  • Installation, configurations, administration, performance tuning/monitoring and security patching. Experience working with MSI software repackaging.
  • Experience writing/maintaining appropriate scripts to automate system administration and recurring jobs
  • Installation, configurations, administration, performance tuning/monitoring, security patching & PowerShell Scripting.
  • Applications upgrades/migrations
  • Creation and maintenance of Disaster Recovery processes and procedures
  • Support of Backup and Replication software technology


Must be available outside of regular business hours for emergency and/or scheduled system changes performed after hours to reduce service interruption to the end user community.


Skills & Qualifications:


  • University or College degree in computer sciences
  • 5+ M365 Experience & relevant Certifications
  • 5+ Years experience on VMWare DataCenter Virtualization, certificate an asset (VCA, VCP, VCAP)
  • 5+ Years experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server platforms
  • 5+ years of current Network Analyst experience
  • Experience on Microsoft Windows SQL & Exchange (on Prem) an asset
  • Current knowledge of trends in technology relating to Security, Networking, Servers, Cloud/Local Storage and Virtualization solutions.
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, critical thinking and problemsolving abilities
  • Stellar prioritization skills and proven track record executing tasks in a highpressure environment
  • Outstanding written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a variety of business environments
  • Technical writing skills are required
