What you'll be doing:

Maintain and supervise daily Food Safety & Quality Tasks (FSQA)
Ensure accurate and proper completion, verification, and storage of daily, weekly, and monthly documentations from all departments
Oversee and implement written FSQA policies and procedures for compliance
Provide FSQA training to all departments
Conduct scheduled FSQA tasks such as inspections, product sampling, EMP, ATP, allergens, etc.
Analyze data, interpret results, and make detailed observations
Update and create detailed SOPs, reports, summaries, forms, records, tables, and charts
Update and maintain HACCP Plan; read and comprehend entire sites' Food Safety Plans
Organize, assign, and review tasks completed by the QA team
Conduct traceability exercises, CAPAs, risk assessments, verifications, and validation tasks
Record and interpret results for presentation to management
Monitor and supervise on the floor/line/area when required

What you'll need:

Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
45 years' experience in a food production environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
Excellent knowledge of HACCP, CFIA, GFSI system standards; CFIA experience and SQFP preferred
Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines
Initiative, teamwork, and effective conflict resolution skills
Fast learner and able to work with mínimal supervision
Planning, scheduling, and adaptability skills
Selfstarter with problemsolving abilities
Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks in a fastpaced production environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (critical: Excel & Word)
Effective oral and written communication skills in English with various stakeholders
