    Duties and Responsibilities

    :
  • Supervise and lead a team of workers, including equipment operators, pipe layers, and laborers, in the installation, repair, and maintenance of sewer and watermain systems.
  • Plan and schedule work activities, allocate resources, and assign tasks to crew members, ensuring efficient workflow and timely project completion.
  • Interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to guide the crew in executing the work accurately and in accordance with established standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure proper project coordination and adherence to project timelines.
  • Monitor and enforce safety regulations and best practices, conducting regular safety meetings, and ensuring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on the job site.
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
  • Provide guidance and training to crew members, promoting skill development and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork, communication, and professionalism among crew members.
  • Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in sewer and watermain construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of sewer and watermain construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using construction-related tools, equipment, and technology.
