ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicating with clients, employees, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Preparing accurate scope of work and estimates for projects, by gathering information and analyzing important metrics.
  • Conducting research, estimating labour costs, materials, and timeline as per respective work orders.
  • Preparing and estimating project costs and providing customer estimates.
  • Determining key variables for cost and other estimates.
  • Estimating changes, reviewing final reports, ensuring accuracy, and adjusting where necessary.
  • Reviewing prepared estimates with Operations Manager, ensuring success, scope, and challenges.
  • Working with suppliers, placing orders for materials with timely deliveries.
  • Creating and providing detailed reports.
  • Coordinating with key contractors, vendors, and suppliers, etc.
  • Providing support on project details to the Operations team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Post-secondary diploma preferred

2+ years' experience

Experience in manufacturing considered an asset


PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Reading drawings correctly.
  • Billing quantities accurately.
  • Proven knowledge about the manufacturing procedure that is adopted; different items of the works involved in the execution, and various materials used in manufacturing.
  • Time management, and effective communication.
  • Detail oriented, with good organizational skills.
  • Good computer skills, including MS Office and other workrelated software.
  • Working knowledge of cost and benefit, ensuring profitable business decisions.
  • Excellent numerical skills, with an analytical mindset.
  • Ability to communicate fluently (both verbally and in writing) and efficiently with employees, suppliers, and clients.
  • Reliable, with the ability to work independently, especially while under pressure.
  • High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs and systems.
  • Strong negotiation and prioritization skills.

Salary:
$50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
