- Responsible for the inspection and storage of raw materials and supplies used in the preparation of baked goods.
- Measures and mixes raw ingredients, bakes, decorates and wraps items.
- Displays and prices bakery products and assists customers with small or large special orders.
- Performs general housekeeping duties to ensure all areas of responsibility are safe, organized, and clean, including equipment and monitoring refrigeration temperature.
- To build merchandise displays as required.
- Perform other duties assigned.
- Have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Have a postgraduate degree/diploma in baking from a recognized postsecondary institution.
- Have 1-2 years of relevant baking experience.
- Cake decorating and retail experience would be an asset.
- Can lift up to 50lbs.
- Are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- Must be available for days, evenings and weekends.
