Our team is passionate about supporting the development, governance and management of strategic forecasting and planning for the holistic Consumer Marketing organization.

We help define, articulate, and track against our overall strategic direction and priorities to win and sustain share in the Canadian telecommunications market.

Our mandate includes budget setting and forecasting for the Wireless product portfolio across all Consumer segments, tracking and reporting on key financial and performance metrics, and delivering strategic deep dives and programs.


Our focus is on gaining a deep understanding of our business and customers, and using it to envision, build, and articulate the innovative strategies that will help us win in the market.

We also work closely with our Executive leadership team to help communicate and drive these strategies across the organization.

You're a team player who will be responsible for building and evolving our data management and visualization strategy by leveraging your strong collaboration skills, analytical expertise, and deep technical data and database programming knowledge; this strategy underpins many of the key strategic decisions the business makes to grow our market share and competitive position within the Canadian telecommunications sector.


Here's how

  • Translate business questions and requirements into data analyses, while generating insights to support strategic marketing initiatives
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for key performance indicators by managing complex databases, developing reporting & selfserve performance dashboards and building/enabling visualizations
  • Proactively drive valuable, strategic evolution in our data management strategy and develop reporting solutions that help drive timely insights and business actions
  • Collaboratively partner with primes and stakeholders across various business units including Business Intelligence, Finance, and Marketing to successfully support and manage the implementation of roadmaps for new data capabilities

Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Expertise in extracting large volumes of data from data warehouses (e.g. SAS,Oracle, SQL)
  • Strong knowledge of Tableau, Domo, or similar tools to support data visualization
  • Experience in a Market/Business Intelligence, database marketing and/or data warehousing environments
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role and/or related education with demonstrated performance and increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experienced in engaging with and presenting to all levels of management, including answering business questions, clearly articulating concepts and recommendations
  • Excellent attention to detail, structured approach to analysis and the ability to develop logical arguments
  • Provide expert technical guidance to analysts and other team members
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Known as a continuous learner with a passion for technology and data
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or other quantitative disciplines
