Your role:
- Ensure proper collateral management and risk mitigation
- Analyze the availability of various equity and fixed income positions with regards to collateralization
- Carry out the sucessfull settlement of securtites borrowing and lending transactions
- Support our front office traders in Toronto, New York and Dublin
- Identify and contribute to improvements that can help deliver a first tier service
- Actviely particiapte in all forums you are required to be present
Your team:
Within the Collateral Management team, you will be part of the larger Securities Borrowing and Lending sector consisting of 35 colleagues and report to the Senior Manager.
The team's mandate is to effectively manage collateral and counterparty risks for the settlement of securities borrowing and lending transactions.
Our mission is to optimize the use of available collateral, ensure proper coverage of exposures and mitigate risks associated with collateral management.
Joining the collateral management team means being an expert in collateral management and optimization, and someone who wants to consistently have a leading impact on the success of the Bank and more specifically Financial Markets.
The training of new employees is done with the help of the Financial Markets Operations Academy and then within the sector.
This position is progressive and is part of a clear and determined development path that can allow you to evolve in your role and, thus, to access different levels of function and propel your career in financial markets.
Prerequisites:
- Completed threeyear university or college diploma and relevant experience
- Knowledge of financial markets desirable
- Experience in settling transactions is desirable
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines on a daily basis
- Sense of organization, speed and precision of execution
- Initiative, autonomy and versatility
- Ability to communicate with various partners
