    Job Description
    Wallrus Creative Technologies is looking for a daring fullstack RUBY ON RAILS developer with frontend expertise on React. As the ideal candidate, you must have a strong mobile web orientation, be a proficient prototyper, enjoy taking up challenges and work on a wide variety of projects with different scales and deliverables (yes, we work in the event industry).

    As our new fullstack recruit, you will partake in the back & frontend development of "web browser based" engagement solutions that may include IOT component integration, mobile data capture, and experimental technology prototyping and testing.

    We are looking for an intermediate to senior candidate with a solid and varied experience in web development:

    You're a RUBY ON RAILS Ninja
    You master React JS (or other javascript frameworks)
    You have some knowledge of PHP
    You have some knowledge of Docker & AWS
    You are comfortable with Git commands Standards.
    You have a diligent commit and code documentation methodology
    Nice to have: You are comfortable with capturing data from cell phones like gyroscope and accelerometer.
    Nice to have: You have experience in prototyping and documentation for R&D projects
    Nice to have: You have experience or interest in electronics and microcontrollers

    requirements:
    4+ years minimun of experience as a fullstack developer
    Intermediate proficiency in French
    Advanced proficiency in English
    Experience in experiential agency context is an asset

    Provide technical documentation
    Ensuring and applying quality assurance and debugging processes

    • b>Description du poste:
    Wallrus est à la recherche d'un(e) audacieux(se) développeur RUBY ON RAILS avec compétences frontend en REACT pour compléter notre équipe de développement applicatif web. En tant que candidat(e) idéal(e), tu es un(e) prototypeur(e) efficace qui possède une expérience web variée (CMS, PWA, microsites, interactifs, etc.). tu aimes relever des défis créatifs tout en travaillant sur une grande diversité de projets de différentes tailles et pouvant comporter des échéanciers parfois courts (oui, on travaille en événementiel)

    En tant que nouvelle recrue Fullstack, l'essence de ton champ d'action sera du développement back/front d'applications web desktop et mobile, de l'intégration de systèmes embarqués, de la capture de données mobiles, du prototypage et du testing de technologies expérimentales.

    compétences:
    Nous recherchons un(e) candidat(e) intermédiaire à sénior avec une solide expérience en développement web varié:

    Tu es un ninja de :Ruby on Rails
    Tu as une bonne maîtrise de REACT (ou autre frameworks Javascript)
    tu es un prototypeur de nature
    Tu as une connaissance de base de PHP
    Tu as une connaissance de base de Docker et AWS
    Tu es confortable avec les commandes Git standards.
    Tu possèdes une méthodologie diligente de commit et de documentation de code
    "Nice to have" : Tu es confortable avec la capture des données provenant de téléphones mobiles comme le gyroscope et l'accéléromètre.
    Nice to have" : Tu as de l'expérience dans le prototypage et documentation de projet de R&D.
    Tu as de l'expérience ou de l'intérêt envers la micro-électronique et les microcontrôleurs.

    prérequis:
    4+ ans minimum d'expérience en développement fullstack
    Compréhension du français, parlé et écrit
    Maîtrise de l'anglais, parlé et écrit
    Expérience en agence web ou expérienciel est un atout
