Join Our Team as a Temporary Materials Coordinator (8 months)


Are you a seasoned professional with experience in material coordinating, computer skills, material tracking, MTR log maintenance, and top-notch organizational abilities? We're looking for someone just like you to join our team in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, as a Materials Coordinator.

This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact and showcase your expertise in a dynamic work environment.


What would you be doing?

  • Assess material requisitions and source quotes, negotiating favourable terms with suppliers.
  • Coordinate material pickup and delivery logistics
  • Utilize procedures to guarantee the best value and service for FLINT, ensuring efficient material ordering and tracking.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors and the management team, maintaining organization and exhibiting strong time management.
  • Conduct continuous exploration for new materials, suppliers, and processes to achieve the best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery.
  • Coordinate warehouse and supply chain activities to ensure seamless operations.

Does this sound like you?

  • 3+ years of professional experience in material coordinating
  • Computer skills, material tracking, MTR log maintenance, and organizational abilities.
  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.

  • As a condition of employment, qualified applicants who are offered and accept the role must complete a satisfactory preemployment Background Check.
