As a result of continued growth, PermaCorp has an opportunity for a Construction Site Manager supervising sites throughout SouthWestern Ontario pertaining our London business.


1)
Profile


The site supervisor acts as a liaison between the Project Management Department Leader/Peer Departments and the field services (sub-contractor/internal install crews/measuring staff etc) and the site specific customer supervision (superintendents etc).

Site Supervisors are the face of PermaCorp in the field and carry themselves with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.

The responsibilities range from Safety, Quality, Manpower/Performance Management, Training and Evaluation, HR-matters as well as other duties as required by business needs.

The site supervisor reports directly to the Project Management Department Leader and indirect to Plant/General Management.

The Site Supervisor owns day to day items on his/her sites and is foresees scheduled milestones through to a timely completion and manages the resources at her/his disposal adequately.

She/he follows up on deliveries and ensures the installation crews are setup for success.

Duties

The duties include but are not limited to:
Quality Buy-Off Installations

Onboarding of new installers/subs

Safety Toolbox Talks

Submission of Site Progress Reports/Milestone Tracking

Audit Milestones

First Contact for Installation Crews on her/his site

Site Ownership/Management

Escalation if required

Attend site meetings

Primary site contact (unless otherwise specified)

Submit site inventory reports

Provide prove of delivery to supply chain

Execute repairs and fixes

Back-up for Measuring and Install

Ensure Code of Conduct and Agreements are upheld

Participation in Manpower Planning

Evaluation of new installers/subs

Other duties as required

Required Skills/Experience

  • Measuring, Installing and Repairing Rails, Privacies, Glass etc.
  • High degree of Adaptability/Flexibility
  • Previous Site Management Experience (formal or informal)
  • Grade 12 Education
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Professional Demeanor
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Basic Excel Skills
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Valid WHMIS/5Step/Working at Heights Certification
  • Ability to meet and manage towards deadlines

Other Parameters
a. Three months probation period (can be extended at the company's discretion)

a. Timely submission of site progress reports

b. Ability to solve problems

d. Demonstration of Ownership and Utilization of Resources

Hours of Work/Salary
a. The position is salaried and thus overtime exempt

b. Work schedules need to be flexible based on site needs

c. Each work week consist of 40hrs

d. Hours of work are from 07:00 - 15:00 (pls. see point b for reference)


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
