Guest Services Network Summer Student Supervisor participates in various activities and projects as designated by the Managers of Guest Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Will be responsible for direct supervision of staff in all areas of the department, including: Patient Food Services, Tim Hortons and Environmental Services at Met Campus and Ouellette Campus
Maintain a strong customer focus in departmental operations
Ensure followup of any issues pertinent to the daily requirements of the department
Vacation replacement this position(s)
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Grade 12 Diploma
Currently attending a College/University program for Food and Nutrition or Dietetics, Environmental Studies, Business and Management program
Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft office
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Good oral and written communication skills
Good health and hygiene
High standards of sanitation and safety
Good interpersonal skills
Knowledge and experience in food service
Demonstrates mature, professional and responsible attitude
Ability to work within a collaborative team environment
General good health and a level of fitness appropriate to the demands of the position
Ability to work safely in accordance with all aspects of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
