RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Leadership team to proactively identify potential opportunities and risks associated with delivering the company's services. This includes fostering an environment of innovation, evaluating competitive services, assessing market obstacles, and addressing technical challenges that may impact business success.
  • Take the lead in developing and implementing practical data solutions that align with the company's overall technological strategy. This involves overseeing the entire technological development process and ensuring its successful execution.
  • Provide effective supervision and management of all IT operations, including personnel and infrastructure. This includes optimizing resource allocation, streamlining processes, and maintaining high standards of performance and efficiency.
  • Assume responsibility for the oversight and sponsorship of all IT projects. This entails ensuring that project commitments are appropriately planned, staffed, monitored, and reported on, to ensure their successful completion.
  • Conduct thorough research and case studies on emerging technologies to assess their potential value and applicability to the organization. This analysis should be used to make informed decisions regarding the implementation of new technologies.
  • Lead strategic planning efforts to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives. Establish clear timetables for evaluating, developing, and deploying projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Direct the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of a robust data infrastructure that supports the organization's Data Operations and addresses its business needs effectively.
  • Implement and manage comprehensive data privacy and security measures to safeguard against cybersecurity threats and ensure compliance with relevant privacy laws and regulations.
  • Establish and manage IT governance frameworks and processes that promote effective decisionmaking, risk management, and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Serve as the organization's Privacy Officer, maintaining processes that meet government, partner, and company expectations for information privacy.
  • Act as a technology advisor to other department heads, offering consultative support to identify and evaluate technologies that can enhance their efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with external advisors, clients, and vendors, leveraging these partnerships to stay up to date with industry trends, access expert insights, and explore collaborative opportunities.
  • Enhancing technology team leadership by overseeing daily operations, providing guidance to department heads, and establishing performance objectives.
  • Formulating effective strategies to foster partnerships, advance technology platforms, and cultivate external relationships.
  • Conducting comprehensive technical reviews of products and solutions to assess their suitability and applicability.
  • Supervising the management of hardware and software licenses, while proactively projecting future requirements.
  • Developing, monitoring, and controlling annual capital and operating budgets to facilitate the acquisition of tools and staff to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Efficiently managing and optimizing infrastructure assets to align with internal financial targets.
  • Collaborating closely with marketing, business development, and operations teams to deliver innovative and enhanced products.
  • Continuously tracking, analyzing, and monitoring key technological performance metrics to drive improvements.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor's or MSc in Computer Information Systems, computer science or other techrelated field.
  • At least 5 years of management and strategic experience in the technology field.
  • Extensive experience in implementing and adopting new technologies, effectively integrating them into existing systems and workflows to drive organizational efficiency, agility, and competitive advantage.
  • Proven track record in successfully leading and driving digital transformation initiatives, resulting in tangible business growth and development.
