Reporting to the Director, Recruitment and Admissions, the Recruitment and Admissions Officer is crucial to the efficient and effective recruitment and admission of high-quality students for our internationally recognized, Executive MBA programs.
These programs include, the Executive MBA, the Rotman-SDA Bocconi Global Executive MBA, and the Global Executive MBA for Healthcare and the Life Sciences.
In this engaging role you will work with the Assistant Directors, internal stakeholders as well as prospective students, applicants, and admitted students at various stages in the Recruitment and Admissions cycle by expertly responding to queries, conducting applicant pre-screening, sharing information about our admissions requirements, and supporting a variety of administrative functions.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate data in our CRM system, producing timely and accurate reports, and assisting with recruitment and admissions events, activities, and projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing detailed information regarding admission requirements to prospective students and applicants
- Fostering and maintaining a network of external contacts to support recruitment strategies
- Preparing draft statistical reports and summaries from data collected
- Assisting in the organization and execution of executive recruitment and admissions activities
- Tracking and monitoring recruitment and admissions activities
- Verifying the accuracy of information posted on digital platforms
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum four years related experience in recruitment, admissions, sales or marketing environment.
- Experience with tasks requiring attention to detail
- Knowledge of and experience with database management is desired
- Experience in event planning is desirable but not required
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required
- Demonstrated superior customer service skills
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure and meet competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong knowledge of computer software; experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other related software
Assets (Nonessential):
- Knowledge of ROSI
- Ability to communicate in one or more languages other than English.
