We are hiring for a Press Operator to join our wonderful Team in Pefferlaw
Day Shift: 6am - 3pm Monday - Friday

Starting $19.00/hour

Responsibilities

Daily inspections of press
Load coil
Feeding/loading coil
Die setup
Preparing labels for boxes
Producing product using various presses
Inspection of product
Packaging product
Stack boxes onto skids
Complete production paperwork
Report press or die issues to maintenance
General housekeeping of work area
Other duties as required
Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Certifications

Die set up experience an asset
Attention to Detail
Strong organizational skills
Willingness to work to meet deadlines
Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
Effective communicator with coworkers and all levels of management
Physical Demands; standing for long periods bending, twisting, heavy lifting, noise (machinery, punch presses)
