Flusher Truck Operator.

lusher Truck Operator will operate a combination vacuuM/Flusher truck to work with a crew of 2-4 employees to clean, inspect and rehabilitate a variety of underground structures (i.e. pipelines, sewers, chambers, manholes, catch basins).
Responsibilities include:
- Work effectively and cooperatively with management, site supervisors all other members of the Empipe team to ensure safe, efficient and successful completion of assigned tasks
- Assist/complete the unloading and setup of traffic control equipment
- Assist/complete in confined space entry into various underground structures (i.e. manholes, pumping stations, chambers, catch basins, etc.
- Operate a Combo Vacuum/Flusher Truck to clean gravity fed sewers, pipelines, manholes, chambers, catch basins, etc.
- Complete Traffic Control Plans, safety and compliance paperwork and submit to management in an organized manner
- Complete daily time sheets / production reports to track hours and job progress for crew
- Maintain clean and safe trucks and working environment
- Report all vehicle and equipment issues immediately to Fleet Manager to ensure equipment is functioning properly, safely and repairs are completed as required
- Complete daily driver logs and vehicle inspection reports mandated by Alberta Transportation and submit to management in an organized manner
Job Details
- 20% Driving/80% Site Work
- Travel is required for this position as our clients / contracts are within various municipalities, towns, cities, and provinces within Canada
- Approximately hours/week
- Day, night and occasional weekend shifts required (typically Monday
- Friday with occasional night and weekend shifts)

These are the qualifications and abilities that you will possess:
- Class 1 or Class 3 drivers' licence with a clean drivers abstract
- Ability to lift 30lbs 50lbs
- Ability to work out of town Monday through Friday approximately 50% of the year
- Ability to work overtime
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
Other valued assets include:
- Previous experience operating a Combo/Vac/Flusher Truck is not required but is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Sewer industry experience is highly valued.
