    *Candidates must reside in the GTA area to be considered for this role as they will be required to work a hybrid schedule at the Toronto Corporate Office.

    General Function:

    MFSG is a dynamic financial services organization committed to ensuring the security and integrity of our digital assets. As a Senior Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our systems, data, and infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in cyber operations to join our dedicated security team.

    1. Threat Detection and Incident Response:
      • Monitor security alerts, analyze potential threats, and respond swiftly to security incidents.
      • Investigate and mitigate security breaches, unauthorized access, and other anomalies.
    2. Vulnerability Management:
      • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
      • Collaborate with IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
    3. Cyber Operations:
      • Leverage your expertise in cyber operations to proactively identify and address security gaps.
      • Develop and implement strategies to enhance our security posture.
    4. Security Architecture:
      • Evaluate existing security architecture and propose enhancements.
      • Participate in the design and implementation of security controls.
    5. Security Policies and Procedures:
      • Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
      • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    6. Security Awareness and Training:
      • Educate employees on security best practices.
      • Conduct security training sessions and workshops.
    7. Collaboration:
      • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align security initiatives with business goals.
      • Provide guidance to junior security analysts.
      • Degree or education in Information Security, or a related field.
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on cyber operations.
      • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly desirable.
      • Strong knowledge of security operation, vulnerability management, and incident response.
      • Experience with security tools (SIEM, WAF, vulnerability scanners, etc.).
      • Analytical mindset and the ability to think critically under pressure.
      • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    Qualifications

    1. Degree or education in Information Security, or a related field.
    2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on cyber operations.
    3. Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly desirable.
    4. Strong knowledge of security operation, vulnerability management, and incident response.
    5. Experience with security tools (SIEM, WAF, vulnerability scanners, etc.).
    6. Analytical mindset and the ability to think critically under pressure.
    7. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
