Bus driver (part-time) YHU

Established schedule:
day or night from Tuesday to Thursday, salary from $25 per hour plus night premium.

Located just minutes from downtown Montreal, Services aériens LUX inc [LUX Ground Services Inc] is a fast-growing company operating a FBO/Fixed-Base Operation service at St-Hubert Airport (CYHU).

LUX also operates a terminal at Quebec City's Jean Lesage International Airport (CYQB).

Our parent company, Chrono Aviation, was founded in Quebec City in 2012. In its early days, the company operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Today, Chrono Aviation has a fleet of 15 aircraft and a team of 280 employees.

Role and context
You'll be asked to drive passengers according to a precise schedule drawn up by the dispatcher. Most routes are local and cover the greater Montreal area. You may also be asked to drive longer distances.

Key responsibilities

Driving the bus according to schedule.
Ensuring passenger safety during embarkation and disembarkation.
Carrying out routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is running smoothly.
Report any faults or technical problems to the maintenance department.
Keeping the interior of the bus clean and tidy.
Answer passengers' questions in a courteous and informative manner.
Handling emergency situations calmly and effectively.

Specific job requirements

Valid class 2 driving licence.
3 to 5 years' previous bus driving experience would be an asset.
Exemplary driving record (proof required).
Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions in French and English.
