Position and Responsibilities


As a member of the technical services department, reporting to the director delivery, technical services, you will be responsible for the overall management of a program of work falling into the classification of non-routine maintenance (NRM) projects.

You will manage a group of project managers to leverage inter-project opportunities to add value across the mining division.

You will also coordinate with the other technical services program managers, who are responsible for capital project delivery, to coordinate resources to efficiently execute the NRM portfolio of work.

At times, you may also be responsible to act in a project manager capacity or perform program management duties. You will work very closely and be integrated with the operations and key stakeholders within the mining division.

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in industrial construction or maintenance projects
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • Strong communication, collaboration and problemsolving skills

Assets:

  • Eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS). C.E.T., or R.E.T.
  • PMP or PgMP certification
