Role Description

This is a full-time Medical Office Assistant role at Better Health Clinic. The Medical Office Assistant will be responsible for performing administrative and clerical tasks in a medical setting. This includes managing patient records, scheduling appointments, greeting and directing patients, and assisting healthcare providers with various tasks. The role is located in Winnipeg, MB, with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Customer service-oriented
Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
Medical Office Assistant certification or diploma is an asset
