Job Description:

Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a

Warehouse and Materials Clerk to assist in the overall effectiveness and efficiency involved in the production of modular units. Frequent communication with production, in addition to purchasing, stockroom, and leadership teams will be required.


Responsibilities:


  • Receive materials into the ERP system (inbound deliveries)
  • Work with purchasing team to fix any PO discrepancies in order to receive materials properly into the ERP system
  • Issue materials from inventory to production/projects
  • Assign inventory location descriptions to materials
  • Data entry for various inventory transactions
  • Print labels for inventory items
  • Print and track material requests from production
  • Generate various reports required by the warehouse/materials team in excel,
  • Communicate to the warehouse/material team all parts needed by production for upcoming modular builds.
  • Assist with regular cycle counting and inventory counts
  • Other duties as assignment by management.
  • Regular, fulltime, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma required
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel
  • General understanding of ERP systems & their effect on business
  • Knowledge of SAP and Kronos is desirable
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work remotely after being oriented to tasks within the plant
  • Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy

Physical Abilities:


  • Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for several hours
  • Regular, fulltime, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role
  • Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.
  • Must be able to lift 60lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for 1012 hours
  • Ability to perform work in a plant/manufacturing environment
  • Other physical requirements as needed for job
