    The Senior Records Analyst is responsible for compliance of the records management policy i.e., accountable for the inventory and control of a company's business records. This position is responsible for communicating and training business units on records management standards and best practices, and enforcing current records management policy and procedures. In addition, this position provides the leadership necessary to establish and enforce records management policies and provides direction for project work.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Audit and compliance:
    • Educates customers on program compliance, which includes customer training and new department set-up.
    • Assists Records Manager with identifying process improvement opportunities for the retention of information and records for assigned business units.
    • Assists Records Manager with identifying non participating customer entities, and works with business unit leadership to administer standard policy and program compliance.
    • Monitors customer's business initiatives to assess impact on business records management requirements.
    • Assisting the customer with moves or closures through managing migrations and transfer of records.
    • Records System implementation
    • Assists Records Manager with maintaining records management processes and procedures for assigned business units.
    • Assists Records Manager with maintaining record retention schedules and record series for assigned business units.
    • Assists Records Manager with implementing records destruction process for customer assigned business units.

    • Record System administration and coordination
    • Maintain accurate records and respond in a timely manner to all retrievals, accessions and destruction requests for all customers' records according to company record retention policy.
    • Monitors records database to ensure accuracy of data entry, storage and destruction.
    • Coordinate collection and distribution of necessary information for assigned business units, including activity levels, Iron Mountain district contacts, authorized users, workflow data, etc.
    • Assist Records Manager with driving overall program improvements for assigned business units.

    EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS...

    • A bachelor's degree is required.
    • A minimum of (4) years to 7 years of equivalent work experience in an active records environment is preferred.
    • A thorough knowledge of retention guidelines and relevant IM technology applications for information retention is required.
