Description:


  • Home Instead is looking for certified_, Personal Support Workers (PSW), Nursing Students, and Registered Nurses (RN). _Those with the courage and willingness to leave the safety of their own homes to make sure the most vulnerable stay safe in their own home._
  • Home Instead provides a variety of nonmedical services that allow our clients to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion._

Duties include but are not limited to:


  • Companionship_
  • Hygiene Assistance_

Home Management_

  • Meal Preparation_

Light Housekeeping_

  • Shopping & Errands_

Medication cueing_

  • Personal care assistance_
Keeping accurate records of care

  • Properly maintain communication regarding:_
  • Client activities _
  • Progress_
  • Concerns_

Treat & care for clients & their property with dignity & respect_

  • Alzheimer's & Dementia Care_

Requirements to be a Caregiver:

-
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner_

  • Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check_

Provide 2 professional and 2 personal references_

  • Complete our mandatory paid caregiver orientation_

Previous personal care experience is required/or the willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment_


Part-Time, Casual, & Full-Time hours available. We have a variety of shifts available, as we are available 24/7 for our clients
