    Responsibilities

    What you will be doing...

    The project coordinator will report to the Manager, School of Business and Creative Industries and will be responsible for:

  • Coordination and monitoring of multiple projects which includes relationship building, communication, collaboration, and support for all facets of project coordination, i.e., labour market research, identifying regional and national opportunities, planning, development, proposal writing, marketing, budgeting, implementation, problem solving, accurate and timely communication, timelines, reporting and evaluation with multiple and diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting the School Leadership Team with specific administrative duties including:Co-ordinating procurement among the SOBCI team which includes processing invoices and DPOs, coordinating approvals, reconciling invoices, tracking and monitoring expenses.
  • Supporting the School Leadership Team in monitoring the performance of programs by: gathering , organizing, curating and presenting relevant program data/trends through documentation and presentations
  • Supporting the School Leadership Team in the development of tools and resources that will support campus teams in the operational delivery of their programs which includes but is not limited to support in the coordination of new program launches, job fairs and marketing and recruitment resources for events and initiatives.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a post-secondary degree in a related discipline such as business, education or social sciences.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of recent and related occupational experience in managing projects and coordinating teams.
  • Occupational experience that includes post-secondary education would be considered an asset.
  • You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail, project management software, TEAMS and SharePoint systems.
  • You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology to create an exceptional student experience
  • You have experience in training/facilitation preparation, delivery and evaluation
  • You have experience supporting/providing service to students and prospective students
