We are looking for experienced and passionate Service and People Leader who will drive growth of after sales & customer activities in Canada and motivate Service teams to strive for excellence.

What you will be doing

  • Lead and promote the Bystronic culture and values. Creates a positive and inclusive working environment for all team members.
  • Responsibility to ensure customer satisfaction through the continual focus on NPS and the achievement of all global leading and lagging indicators.
  • Execute on After Sales service activities with team and support functions to ensure consistent achievement of targets aligned to strategic goals of Global organization.
  • Work closely with Service Operations Manager to provide superior service to our customers.
  • Monitor and maintain turnover and headcount in Service department and promote training and development.
  • Lead employees in the areas of responsibility in accordance with superior and corporate guidelines, set appropriate individual objectives aligned with the global strategy and targets.
  • Develop team by providing performance feedback, coaching and motivation; responsible for the planning and support the completion of team training; assess employees' strengths and development needs and establish personal development plans; hold constructive career development discussions.
  • Manage customer invoicing of servicerelated revenues.
  • Manage customer collections of outstanding service invoices.
  • Lead our Health and Safety initiatives.
  • Report budgetary results versus target performance on monthly basis to the global service team.
  • Review and approve weekly hours and activities for payroll.

Your education & experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related fields.
  • 35 years of experience in a businesstobusiness field service environment, ideally 3+ years of management experience directing multiple serviceoriented professionals
  • Strong business acumen Basic business acumen.
  • Applicable product and industry knowledge associated with industrial customer solutions, technology, and services.
  • Organized with strong time management skills
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written), especially for client relatinship and collection calls.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within the specific region, occasionally outside.
