This is an on-site role as the hiring team will require the student to work in the Markham office throughout the entire duration of the co-op work term.

About the Department
Analog IP Characterization team is part of the larger analog IP design team. We work with design Engineers on the latest and most advanced analog designs.
What you'll be doing
In this position, working with experienced Engineers, you will Develop your technical abilities in a very specialized and rewarding field.
Help create test plans for above circuits
Execute test using state of the art instruments (such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, function generators, etc), collect data, and help prepare report
What you'll learn
In this role, you will learn about PC architecture and high-speed interfaces such as USB, PCIe, HDMI, etc. You will also work with semiconductor devices produced with the latest and most advanced process technology.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of analog circuits
Familiarity with using test equipment such as Scopes, Function Generators, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
Computer programming skill (Python, C, C++,) and familiarity with device specification is preferred
Strong problem-solving skills
Experience with building/assembling PCs is a plus.
