Golden Door is currently recruiting 0.5 EFT Health Care Aides Permanent Day and Evening Positions.

Position overview:

Under the supervision of the Care Coordinators and the day-to-day direction of the Team Leaders (RN, RPN &LPN), Health Care Aide performs routine functions involved in the provision of holistic quality resident care.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide certificate program.

Required Qualifications:

Ability to organize and prioritize assigned workload
Possess excellent organizational skills.
Physical and mental health to meet position demands
Genuine interest in and concern for residents
Must have good attendance in present position
Must be able to communicate in English including written documentation
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
Maintain a professional appearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Clinical experience in the provision of geriatric care in a health care facility is preferred.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.

A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
