Accounts Payable Clerk - Mississauga, Canada - TA Networks

Description

• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
• Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues with vendors or internal departments
• Maintain vendor files and update vendor information as needed
• Prepare and process weekly check runs or electronic payments
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
• Assist with monthend closing activities related to accounts payable

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
• Proficient in using accounting software such as UltiPro, Ceridian, Sage, or PeopleSoft
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
• Ability to analyze financial data and perform account reconciliations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
