JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties:


  • This posting is for two (2) FTR Distribution Work Program Manager positions assigned to the responsible for managing the end to end delivery of underground asset replacement programs
- such as maintenance vaults, livefronts, switch gear, underground residential, or other. The
- programs managed typically have an annual aggregate capital budget of $10 - $20 million.

  • Deliver capital and maintenance programs within established budget, scope and schedule while
meeting quality and safety objectives- Monitor, forecast, control and report on monthly program progress

  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize efficiency and delivery of programs current and
future work including but not limited to using new/unique technologies, processes, and products- Lead initiatives to improve processes related to the delivery of work across multiple programs

  • Work with Integrated Planning to scope, prioritize, estimate and schedule work
  • Work with our delivery partners in Design, Engineering, Field Operations, Construction Services,
Procurement, Environment, Indigenous Relations and Safety to deliver programs on time and on
- budget
  • Manage external design and work package contracts
  • Monitor programs spend and completion and implement change control as necessary
  • Prepare for an attend status reporting meetings within PCM and to key Stakeholders in other

- groups
  • Approval of procurement commitments and payments within assigned programs

Qualifications:

***- 4-7 years of experience in program or project management. Be able to demonstrate that the

caliber of programs or projects delivered in the past is of high complexity and/or high value/budget
- (preferably in a utility, engineering, or construction environment)
  • Intermediate technical knowledge in a specific field (ex. Engineering, Technical, Trade, Business
or Sciences) with some general knowledge of other fields- An Engineering degree or equivalent is considered an asset. A combination of education and

relevant experience will be considered- Strong grasp of project and program management principles, various delivery models and

contracting strategies- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or

equivalent is considered an asset- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and management skills and the ability to work in an

unstructured environment- Strong analytical capabilities to work with data to forecast trends and report on progress using

software such as Excel and Tableau- Must be able to effectively manage multi-discipline program teams and oversee external

contractors- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with an ability to present key program

information to both technical and non-technical audiences


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This FTR position is headquartered at Edmonds reporting to the Program Manager for Distribution
End-of-Life Underground Assets. Alternative headquarters within the Lower Mainland or Victoria
region may be considered with the required approvals.
Minimal travel < 10% may be required.
