The Bluewater Recycling Association, based in Huron Park near Exeter, has
an immediate opening for the position of
Equipment Operator.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, as an Equipment Operator you will play a key role in planning and organizing material flow in the operation of the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) while being responsible to operate the equipment.

Main Duties:

Operation of the forklift, skid steer, front end loader, baler and/or telehandler to load materials onto conveyors for baling and sorting, moving waste materials, loading outbound trucks with material, and other activities related to the operation of equipment.
Performs tasks as required for successful operation including cleaning, operating the scale, completing safety checks and reports, conducting minor maintenance on equipment, and assisting with line operation.

Working Hours:

Monday-Friday; 9:30am-6:00pm

1 year experience as an equipment operator would be an asset but will train
Experience operating other heavy equipment (ie. Farm equipment)
