Job Title:
Cleaner, Light Duty

Location:
Downtown, Toronto

Rate:
$15.60/hr

Shifts:
Monday to Wednesday - Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun - 3pm - 11pm, 7am - 12pm,
Overnight - 11pm - 7am

About the Role:

We're looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space This is a full-time opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service - keeping our communities safe & sanitized.

What you'll be doing:

Cleaning assigned areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, hauling waste streams to loading bay
Collect and dispose trash in garbage, compost and recycle containers on a regular basis
Spot clean walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, doors and windowsills
Cleaning of washrooms, sanitizing, mopping, and restocking of supplies
Other responsibilities such as special projects as assigned by the site supervisor or manager
Follow preset policies, guidelines, and rules to maintain a safe working environment

You have:

A willingness to work and learn
The ability to obtain a background or security clearance
Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
