Job Summary

Qualifications

University degree or College diploma in Computer Science equivalent experience
5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with significant experience in database migration, consolidation, and upgrade projects.
Familiarity with modern cloudbased technologies such as modern Microsoft Workplace, analytical tools, and platforms (Azure Data Services, etc.)
Familiarity with SIS and K12 Cloud based Software Solutions industry terminology.
Strong software testing and implementation skills
Demonstrated initiative and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills to deal effectively with Board personnel and members of the public and vendors
Demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse school community and/or work environment
Record of satisfactory onthejob performance while employed by the Peel District School Board

Additional Skills & Assets

Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Application Server Administration, Web Design, IIS, Linux
Knowledge of programming principles and comfort with using common development platforms and languages (Oracle-Web interface, Oracle forms and reports, Angular, JDeveloper)
