We are hiring a _
Brand Marketing Specialist _to work out of the MTY Group office in Burlington.

This role will report to the Senior Brand Marketing Manager and will play an integral role in the development and execution of marketing initiatives for two brands in the MTY Group family.

Your Role
You will work on local store marketing (LSM), menu development, seasonal events & programs, and network-wide integrated marketing campaigns. Travel will be required to help launch programs and support the restaurants with local store marketing needs. Some nights and weekends may be required.

Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):


  • Assist restaurants in building local store marketing plans. Identify new opportunities per restaurant and support them with ongoing requests, including creative briefing, development, and execution.
  • Coordinate tracking of all local restaurant marketing efforts and lead postevaluation analysis
  • Audit restaurants to ensure compliance with brand standards and marketing requirements
  • Lead on menu development including new menu launches and menu updates
  • Assist the Senior Brand Marketing Manager in the execution of strategic, integrated marketing initiatives including network programs, promotions, brand activation, events etc.
  • Develop and execute all seasonal programs to be implemented across the network
  • Work closely with our agency to strengthen our social media presence, including strategy, monthly content calendars, content development, community management and reporting
  • Administrative tasks may include: loyalty and gift card fulfillment, guest feedback, etc.

Your Qualifications & Skills:


  • Minimum 2 years of relevant marketing experience with postsecondary College or University degree
  • Restaurant experience and knowledge of industry a bonus. Passion for hospitality, and food and beverage a must
  • Digital marketing experience a bonus
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and sense of urgency
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of rapid change and shifting priorities
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Effective team player and able to work collaboratively and independently crossfunctionally and with restaurants
  • Valid driver's license
