Cheshire Homes of Saskatoon is a non-profit charitable organization established in 1970.

It is a place in which the residents with disabilities can acquire a sense of belonging and of ownership by contributing in any way within their capabilities to its functioning and development; a place to share with others, and from which to help others less fortunate.

Our Mission is to provide an accessible, comfortable home with personal support services for adults with physical disabilities.

To achieve our mission, we will foster an external environment of interdependence and an internal environment of individual independence within Cheshire Homes.

We are currently looking to fill a full time summer position.

Past experience in ground keeping, would be an asset, as well as any experience in painting and general carpentry skills.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

MAINTENANCE

Duties and responsibilities:

• Up keep of grounds, mowing lawn, watering, flower bed maintenance and tree trimming
• General clean up duties of grounds and exterior of buildings
• Repair and maintenance of irrigation system
• There will be a variety of other renovation and repair duties which could include any of the following, painting exterior and interior, wall repair, mirror electrical and plumbing tasks, and some general carpentry skills

Salary is Hourly:
$14.00
