WHAT YOU'LL DO


As the Assistant Merchant, you will work alongside the Merchant in running the day-to-day business of the Sephora Collection brand.

Using your organizational and analytical skills, and your eye for spotting relevant trends, you will support the brand and achievement of financial goals.


  • Detailed weekly/ monthly sales analysis on current business trends, productivity, and world/ product performance
  • Maintain data integrity in buysheets, systems and price lists, process price changes and run markdowns, as well as own SKU creation and maintenance
  • Manage Sephora Collection assortments and review and approve instore graphics for all fixture iterations
  • Build and maintain the brand activation calendar
  • Support the Education team with project management for various training tools including facilitating translations, owning all store communications and training uploads, distributing and tracking event tools, and gratis and gifts.
  • Collaborating closely with the US and Marketing teams to provide content and assets for social placement, including some ideation and execution of localized content
  • Manage the sample collection, organization and distribution to necessary teams, and facilitate ordering of nonsaleable products for education, gratis, and marketing needs
  • Provide contest support and coordination
  • Process invoices for collateral/marketing tools
  • Maintain department records and assist with general administration, meeting agendas, presentation decks, and meeting/market prep
  • Manage and resolve tickets in Store Support Help Desk
  • Build crossfunctional partnerships with ecommerce, planning, marketing, education, field and brand teams

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 23 years experience in merchandising/retail buying or marketing
  • A love for product, understanding consumer trends and behaviour, and inspiring fearlessness in everything that you do
  • Curiosity, a gogetter attitude that takes pride and ownership in your work
  • A passion for solving problems and using your analytical skills to find solutions
  • An entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a fastpaced and dynamic environment, with an interest in working collaboratively with crossfunctional groups.
  • Experience in the art of negotiation
  • Technically savvy and have experience using merchant systems and MS Office suite
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in beauty is a plus but definitely not required
