The operation associate position:
This is a full-time position within our operations and fertilizer departments and reports to the operations manager.

• Welding and Fabrication ("tickets not required")
• Have some familiarity with grain and fertilizer handling facilities (or willing to learn)
• Must have a valid driver license and own vehicle (DZ licence is an asset) to commute to work on a daily basis
• Must have flexible availability and free to work weekends, evenings, early mornings, holidays as/when needed
• Must be capable of lifting 55lbs
• Have the ability and willingness to work in all weather environments
• Working at heights and confined spaces
• Strong work ethic, be dependable, team oriented and have the capacity to learn
• Observe and enforce all company policies and adhere to all safety requirements
• Effectively communicate with managers and coworkers
• Be professional and courteous to all customers

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Shipping & receiving, unloading trucks (Grain, Fertilizer, Seed)
• Equipment and building maintenance
• Grading grain (training provided, experience is an asset)
• Fertilizer blending (training provided, experience is an asset)
• General work and housekeeping as needed and as assigned
• Assist the Sales staff as needed
• Warehouse working including operating a forklift, tractor and loader
• Shipping, receiving and corresponding paperwork
• Able to use a computer for data inputting
