    Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co. Ltd. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are looking for a candidate for the position as the Asian Market – Sales Representative in our ON office.

    Position Summary:

    The Asian Market – Sales Representative reports to the Asian Market Sales Department Manager and is a team-player to service mainstream banner customers and support the Sales department in achieving sales targets.

    The scope of this role includes developing new accounts, promoting and selling food products to mainstream banners and independent supermarkets. This also involves managing all elements of customer service, resolving issues and cultivating business relationships.

    Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals
  • Effectively handle inbound leads generated from marketing activities and Indoor Sales
  • Proactively generate new business by scheduling and conducting client meetings, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, setting up new accounts efficiently, closing deals successfully and ensuring timely collection of payments from clients
  • Forge and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction through diligent follow-up and resolution of any issues
  • Excel in a dynamic, self-directed environment, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and conventions, enhancing brand visibility and fostering professional connections
  • Requirements/ Must-Haves:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, with a preference for candidates with a background in the food industry
  • A completed university degree or college diploma
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, alongside proven networking and relationship-building capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for engaging effectively with clients and team members
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed for the role; a valid driver's license is required
  • High proficiency in English, with advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Assets/ Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in sales or merchandising roles is highly regarded
  • Proficiency in Chinese (both verbal and written) will be considered an asset, supporting effective engagement with a diverse client base
