In this position, the principal responsibilities of the
MANAGER, SCRP ALLIED HEALTH include: performing management responsibilities to ensure the delivery of Clinical Nutrition (RD), Occupational Therapy (OT), Occupational Therapy Assistant and Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA), Physiotherapy (PT), Psychology (Psych), Community Support workers (RSSW), Social Work (SW) and Speech Language Pathology (SLP), and Therapeutic Recreation (TR) services and any other assigned areas to established standards; as well as participating in strategic planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of departmental activities; facilitating and promoting professional, personal development and educational activities; performing administrative functions; facilitating staff meetings; ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff; maintaining liaison with patients, family members and significant others; resolves patient care issues; ensures equipment is maintained and readily available; performing other duties consistent with the job classification, as required.
As the Program Services Manager you will focus on facilitating the provision of optimal patient centred care and inspire teams to do their best by modelling UHN values.
You will also be accountable for fiscal planning; inspire and lead teams through system wide change, facilitate team education and provide leadership for operating initiatives to meet strategic directions; all in collaboration with the Clinical Director and Medical Director of the Brain and Spinal Cord Rehabilitation Program.

Qualifications:
- A Baccalaureate degree or higher in a regulated allied health profession (e.g. occupational therapist, physiotherapist, psychologist, registered dietitian, social worker, speech language pathologist, etc) required
- Master's Degree in related field required
- A minimum of three years' experience as a clinical manager is preferred
- Experience with rehabilitation/ complex medical patients is required
- Experience managing a multidisciplinary health care team in a multisite academic health care setting is an asset
- Experience with outpatient, and community based programs and services is an asset
- Proven change management skills combined with the ability to work with and through others and successfully lead change
- Working knowledge of labour/management practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and creative problemsolving skills
- Proven ability to promote an academic practice environment within the clinical setting
- Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
