    We are seeking a skilled Light Equipment Operator to join our upcoming project at our client site in Vancouver, BC.

    This position will start on April 16th, 2024, and end on June 28th, 2024. It offers a Monday to Friday-rotation with 10-hour shifts.

    As an Equipment Operator, you will conduct pre-operational inspections, safely and efficiently operate Zoomboom and/or bobcats, and identify safety risks and hazards on-site. Your ability to communicate and review hand signals with a spotter and occasionally perform General Laborer duties will be essential to the project's success. With a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil work, you understand the value of hard work and dedication.     What would you be doing?

  • Perform pre-operational routine inspections of equipment.
  • Safe and efficient operation of Zoomboom and/or bobcats.
  • Identifying safety risks and hazards on site.
  • Supporting the cleaning and maintaining equipment, machinery, and corresponding site areas.
  • Transporting materials and equipment.
  • Dig trenches and shovel snow, gravel, and other materials.
  • Cleaning off machinery at shops and client sites.

  • Can troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and find solutions.
  • Can work autonomously and follow directions.
  • With valid Zoomboom/Bobcat/Telehandler Ticket.
  • With valid Safety Tickets: H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015, and Ground Disturbance.
  • Physically fit with the ability to work long workdays.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must have own transportation to site.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.

  • Competitive Rate from $28.38/hr - $38.42/hr
  • Consistent Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10 hrs/day
