Description
We are looking for Payroll and Benefit Administrator to join our team.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of US and Canadian payroll and administer employee health insurance and benefits.

This position also requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of payroll regulations, and effective time management.


Job Details:


  • Oversees and manages api's Alarm Inc.'s payroll cycle and ensures accurate and timely wage salary distribution.
  • Administers employee benefits programs, handling enrollment, communication, and compliance tasks.
  • Ensures accurate and timely wage payments to employees while maintaining compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
  • Ensures compliance with employment standards regulations within Canada and the US.
  • Payroll onboarding, calculating wages, deductions, and other earnings, processing payroll data accurately, policy compliance within ADP and managing the payroll software vendor relationship (ADP).
  • Handles statutory reporting, maintaining records, resolving inquiries or discrepancies, and contributing to developing and implementing payroll policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the administration, reconciliation and troubleshooting of benefits
  • Other appropriate duties as assigned

Experience & Knowledge / Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, diploma, or certificate
  • PCP certification preferred.
  • 35 years of relevant fullcycle payroll experience.
  • 1 to 2 years of benefit administration experience.
  • Experience of Us and Canadian payroll principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Can work with mínimal supervision.

Job Types:

Salary:
$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
