Supervisor
Job type:
Full-time & Part-time
Working hours:
Dependent on scheduled availability
Salary:
$19.75/hr with benefits
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and assists the team in maintaining product quality and customer service standards
- Opening and closing the store
- Communicate with the Store Manager on any issues or concerns that may arise
- Observe staff performance and provide feedback
- Oversee activities in the cafe to ensure high quality foods are prepared and all food safety and sanitation standards are followed consistently
- Resolve quickly any complaints or issues related to coffee or food quality and know what procedures to take if the problem cannot be solved at the store level
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order
- Able to correct minor issues with equipment and/or know how to locate the correct resources in order to solve the problem
- Assist the Store Manager to maintain adequate stock of supplies
- Assist with serving customers by completing orders, as required
Skills and Credentials Required
- Good communication skills and customer service skills
- Accountable and committed
- Team player, handles conflicts effectively
Experience
Previous coffee shop experience preferred. Experience in a supervisory role in a fast-paced, high-volume food-service environment will be prioritized.
