Bond Paving & Construction is a Toronto-based company that's searching for an estimator/project coordinator to join our team.

Construction Estimator - Responsibilities

Assist the Chief Estimator in the determination of deemed work,
Manage the estimating process, quantify take off, cost analysis and tender preparation,
Attend and relay information from pretender meetings as necessary,
Oversee and complete tender in an accurate, efficient and timely manner,
Review tender/construction bid materials with the delegated Project Manager and/or Supervisor to review project details,
Coordinate and oversee the completion of the rewarded projects,
Maintain a directory and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors,
Schedule, monitor and track the performance of subcontractors, suppliers, and team members regarding projects,
Provide technical support to clients, project managers and supervisors,
Communicate with employee teams and senior management regarding current and upcoming projects.

Qualifications/Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry in asphalt paving, concrete, or general landscaping (preferably within the ICI sector),
University Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related program,
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings,
Excellent ability to work and multitask under pressure,
Proficiency in communication, both verbal and written,
Adept attention to detail.
