Excel - Interactive Calendar Using Conditional Formatting (No VBA)

Job summary
I have a one-page 2026 calendar in Excel (Jan-Dec).
I need it made interactive so I can select multiple projects (prefer checkboxes, no VBA) and the relevant dates automatically highlight in the calendar using conditional formatting, keeping the existing layout and colors.
