Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Foreign Space/Counterspace Intelligence Analyst to support the United States Space Force (USSF) Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO).
The SF/S2 is the USSF's Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) and Defense Intelligence Component Head and, as such, is responsible to the Secretary of the Air Force (SecAF) for delivering intelligence guidance, policies, and programming for the Space Force Intelligence Enterprise.
SF/S2 executes all USSF intelligence activity responsibilities assigned to the Secretary of the Air Force as the Department Head or Service Secretary pursuant to all applicable intelligence-related laws, executive orders, and Intelligence Community and Department of Defense policies and guidance.
As the USSF Head of Intelligence Community Element (HICE), the SF/S2 is accountable to the Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
Work is expected to begin on 1 JULY 2023
What you'll be doing:
- Conducts research, proposes topics for production, and writes authoritative expertlevel analytic products on various foreign space and counterspace capabilities in order to ensure senior USSF leaders have timely and continuous insight into threats and opportunities in the space domain.
- Fuses allsourcing intelligence into concise, impactful products while following established intelligence community and USSF/S2 standards and tradecraft.
- Conduct research, analysis, and assessment on Space capabilities as well as emerging Space technologies. Brief/submit assessments to USSF senior leadership, Space Staff members, and other audiences as required.
What you'll need:
- Master's Degree
- 10+ years of experience in Operational Intelligence, Foreign Space and Counterspace capabilities.
- TS/SCI Security Clearance
