Description

We are a local carpentry-based construction company with an immediate need to add a forming and framing Project Manager.

Red Seal Carpenter with a minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to framing, forming, finishing, and all aspects of carpentry in Canada.
Proven experience supervising and managing projects in a commercial setting
Managing other supervisors and lead hands and ensuring measuring production targets
Ability to perform material take offs and order materials
Create and manage schedules according to client requirements
Ability to perform accurate and fast layout
Complete confidence in reading and interpreting plans in all disciplines (Architectural, Structural, Electrical etc.)
Ability to manage subcontractors on site and measure production
A team attitude
A punctual work record
Ability to get to and from sites reliably each day via a reliable vehicle
Valid SIN
Valid drivers license
Previous experience leading a team of carpenters
CSTS20 & WHIMS, Fall Protection Training

I am open to a single sub-contractor if you are performing the work yourself. No on-demand labour companies please and no crews.

Wages based on experience and education to the position applied for.
