The Senior Consultant will gather requirements and create user stories to support business transformation and deliver change at Canada's largest financial institutions.


  • You will work closely with our clients to define and optimize their banking products and service delivery roadmaps.
  • This position is ideal for an expert level organizer who is able to bring clarity, structure and direction to the varying perspectives inherent in dynamic, stakeholder centric environments.
  • As Sr BA/BC you are comfortable challenging a team of collaborators on product and technical business details to ensure that project outcomes align with sponsor vision and agreed to scope.
  • This role provides an option to work remotely from Canada and USA.
  • This role required the ability to travel to USA.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Assess proposed Change and/or project scope to identify and engage impacted stakeholders
  • Facilitate conversations to document customer / user needs, process flows, and endtoend requirements. Create stories that include key areas such as happy path experiences, alt/error flows, specbyexample, acceptance criteria, and business value
  • Identify and update business processes related to the new project/change. Documenting current and endstate processes. Maps and update policy and directive requirements
  • Write BRDs/User Stories and other requirements management artifacts. Secure signoffs
  • Collaborate with business, operations, technology, and other work streams to ensure assigned deliverables are in accordance with documented requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders; identify and navigate risks and issues that occurs throughout the project lifecycle
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • Background in the North American Retail Banking Industry
  • Domain expertise in one or more of the following retail/branch banking products & services: Deposit origination; Commercial Banking; Payments ACH/Wire; Wealth Mgt, Credit Cards; Personal Lending & Mortgages; Customer Contact Centres; Backoffice processing; AML/KYC and Regulatory Reporting.
  • This role required the ability to travel to USA.
  • Ability to organize, lead and facilitate sessions with stakeholders to elicit (gather) requirements and write BRDs
  • 710 years Business Analysis experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to create Business Cases
  • Knowledge of process reengineering
  • Demonstrated knowhow in collaborating with stakeholders to support project benefits and changes to business processes, policies and systems
  • CBAP / IIBA Certified.
